Very nice spot just an hour away from Tokyo. Beach is clean and water warm - even at the end of October. Restrooms are also available for free.
Strong waves, wide horizon across Sagami Bay, just listening to the rhythmic waves gushing and receding to & fro the shore, melody of the waves, sea breeze, beautiful sands, all in one at this beautiful Kamakura Seaside park.
Good for swimming but after swimming have to be bathing place there not available
We goes there for Hanabi. It is a large park with public restroom. When Hanabi matsuri happens, so many food stores there. Many people gather around with beautiful yukata. Nice 👍 …
No toilet but it's safe for your kid to run around..lol
Wonderful place, look forward to exploring more! Amazing fireworks!
It is for sure a good place to hang out. There is enough space for you to play any kind of sports you desire. You will be able to meet friendly and kind people.
There is a police station just infront of this location so makes it more safe.
At times this place is dirty due to many people doing picnics. On weekends might be very packed.
However, give it a try and have fun !
Kamakura is home to several sand beaches, which are popular getaways for those who want to escape the nearby cities of Tokyo and Yokohama for some sunbathing, swimming and surfing. The official beach season in Kamakura lasts from July to August.
